June this year, “Global Times” has reported that “China will surpass Japan in 2012, becoming the world’s largest consumer of luxury goods, have inspired many Western luxury brands.”
By contrasting these two things, we might be able to see a way of making money by Gucci and other luxury brands: on the one hand, China has enough cheap labor, they have enthusiastically set up factories in China; on the other hand, where there are numerous rich constitute in the vast Chinese market, the rich door, before the surge of financial resources, Gucci has no time or bother to consider the interests of labor in China stores.
